Fantastic little snub nose with a punch! I really like the weight and the 8 round capacity

This revolver is my 4th S&W performance center revolver. I have 3 %u20225%u201D models & now this snub. S&W perf cr revolvers in my opinion are the absolute greatest guns ever made. There is nothing to rival their smooth action and stability. I do a lot of rapid fire and they%u2019re easy to control,, when taking aiming shots I can put them all basically thru the same hole, all touching. I also carry this as my self defense since they come cut for the moon clips. After seeing Jerry Miculek set his records with reloading it became a mission for me. I can reload these revolvers as fast as I can swap a mag in a semi-auto. These revolvers are unbelievable all-around. And the snub at 2.62%u201D is as stable as shooting the full size 5%u201D. My ONLY complaint is the way S&W has chinced with the grips. The grips are absolutely TERRIBLE !!! They%u2019re almost as thin as paper. They%u2019re good looking but way to thin for what a grip should be so I have after markets on there. They used to come with nice full size wood grips AND rubber Hogues and the snub now comes ONLY with the thin wood AND it%u2019s cut down to the base of the frame which is way too small for my hands so I put on full size ones. But that%u2019s a matter of choice, but still shouldn%u2019t be so thin. But overall this is a great revolver and trust the lives of myself and my family with it. I carry 24/7 wherever I go & whatever I do. Revolvers just don%u2019t jamb and these performance centers are the best out there. I highly recommend.

This is my first Smith, and it was a great purchase. Everything is smooth and accurate. My only complaint is the factory grips, for the money they really should be of better quality and more comfortable.

An 8 shot 357 is something that every shooter should sit up and look at. Nice double action trigger from the Performance Center with a comfortable oversized hammer spur for an transition to single action. The only down side is the price, especially when the 686 Plus can be had for about 200 dollars less. That said this revolver will not disappoint at all.

I love the Smith & Wesson N-frame revolvers. S&W has the best trigger let-off of any handgun ... and this one is no exception. As crisp as always ... consistent in all their revolvers for over 40 years. Just a gorgeous revolver! And yet ... I think that a fluted cylinder would have looked even better. The cylinder lock-up is tight ... cylinder to barrel gap is almost non-existent. The full-moon clips fit perfectly and should be used for all shooting ... although the clips will not hold CCI shotshells. Now the bad ... the screw for the wood grips was stripped ... for something from the performance center that is unacceptable. The grips themselves are okay ... but I would have preferred just a tad more length that the boot grips provide. The wood to metal fit is lacking ... there are gaps. The sights could have been better ... the white outline on rear sight is barely visible ... and looks to have been painted on by a preschooler. The muzzle is not crowned and seems a bit on the rough side. All in all I bought this item because the revolver looked so good ... for that I am pleased. The minor things noted are something that I will live with. But ... the product is not something that I would have expected from a so-called "performance center" and at the high-end price.

This is a very nice revolver. Very crisp trigger in single action and the double action is smooth and predictable. It shoots accurately and despite the short barrel the recoil is light (it is a N frame, which helps quite a bit). Overall, I’m very pleased with it. Buds was great to deal with and the whole transaction was smooth.

This gun was everything I expected it to be! Shoots very accurate and feels good in the hand. Love the fire power of having 8 shots of .357. Also since it’s an N frame gun it fits my holsters I have for my 629. It shipped really fast, very happy about that. The gun showed up in perfect condition and had no flaws. Overall very happy with this purchase!

Be sure to inspect thoroughly. I made the mistake to not to. Gave it a look seemed fine. Had to get back to work. When I got home later. I inspected it a little better. There was damage to the crown. There was a nick in the crown on the top side as well as the bottom seems how I did the transfer I can't return it through buds now I have to send it back to Smith & Wesson to see if they will fix it. I was going to buy a 629 and a 327. I ain't going to now.

I had one of these a couple of years ago and traded it and regretted it, so here I am again. Received the gun with no defects, took it out shooting and it works great. Will be changing out the Eagle grips it cones with for some Hogue Bantam grips. They are a little thicker at the top and still are low profile. Nice shooter and a great looking revolver.
