Ronald - you would need rings for a Weaver rail, same size as your scope tube, and your scope. I have a Vortex Crossfire II on my 10/22 rifle and it is a great combination. Plus, the Vortex "No Questions Asked" warranty is great peace of mind.

Why would I choose the stainless version of this rifle versus the blued version? I am seeing commentary indicating the stainless is more rust resistant, beyond that the choice is cosmetic. Any functional differences?

Absolutely no function differences other than a higher element resistant finish Thomas. If you properly maintain your firearms then this is even less of an issue. A decent cleaning and storage in anti rust gun bags and you will be good with either.

There are zero differences in functionality. The stainless model is simply better for hardcore use in nature’s conditions. To me it also looks nice. I’m not saying a blues finish would get all rusted and messed up. I can do the same as long as you clean it. The stainless is just more resistant to rust and other stuff. A lot of my rifles are stainless just because I like the look. I also have blued stuff and they work just as fine. It actually takes a lot for a gun to start getting rusted and blemished. It would really have to be a neglected gun.

While it does not have a last shot hold open I am almost certain that with the mag installed the bolt will stay back until magazine is removed I cant check mine until tomorrow (working tonight) if you wait until then I will check and post the results here

Purchased this rifle to install in the Sampson B-TM stock. The stainless rifle in the wood folder looks great. Only things it needs are the Sampson sight kit and possibly a form one to shorten the barrel.
