I've been a big fan of Ruger products for many years. This revolver doesn't disappoint. I do wish that it had the old style dragoon grip frame. Makes it easier to control recoil in my opinion.

Extremely Satisfied.... They said the process could take up to 2 weeks.... not the case.. it was shipped in one day after I paid... The Super Blackhawk is better them i imagined....   • Q: Is the revolver pictured with the dark grips the one we are purchasing?

    Hi Wayne and welcome. The hardwood grips can vary in color. Since the members here are customers as well with no access to Buds inventory, I would ask Buds to verify this batch's grip color with their Inventory Manager at 1-859-368-0371 9am-7pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 7pm Mon - Sat and closed Sunday.     Richard, you sure can. I shoot 44 special threw my Ruger new model super Blackhawk all the time. Nice to have a ammo option with a little less kick for a day at the range. These are fantastic revolvers. Mines from 1979 and still a great revolver. Hope this helps.
