A great basic rim fire rifle. At 50 yards I was able to get on target with decent groups. Highly recommended as a starter or plinking rifle.

Little rough worksmanship around the edges of the buttplate and thats a little disappointing that that is acceptable to pass through quality. But in the end its a fine hunting rifle. Its a ruger 10/22, not much more needs to be said. One of the great all time classic rifles, cant really go wrong

When I was a kid about eight years old. My very first firearm was a Ruger 10/22. I purchased this Ruger 10/22 as my daughter's first firearm. We went to the range for her 15th birthday and she thought she was shooting one of my rifles. Until I handed her a range bag with Herm earmuffs in it. She thought that was the end of the gifts. And then I pulled out a Ruger 10/22 that I had her name engraved in. She was able to put Good Hits on target at 50 m using it for the very first time. It was reliable and worked as well as any Ruger 10/22 I've ever had. If you are looking for a really good semi-automatic 22 rifle this is the best you can possibly get in my opinion. You won't be disappointed. Neither was she!

There is some roughness on the muzzle end of the stock. I will fix that my self gun needs some more breaking in but it seems to be a decent little shooter.

Very pleased with the rifle that I purchased from Bud's. I purchased the rifle to customize it for myself and use on the range. At this point I have not fired the rifle, just waiting on all the components.
The rifle shipped quickly and arrived in with no problems at my ffl. This is not my first purchase from Bud's and I have always been very happy with their service.
What else is there to say about the Ruger 10/22, after what 50 years the gun is the most popular 22 sold today. I am looking forward the a long happy relationship with this little firearm.

I unboxed this rifle and was impressed with the quality that went into this gun. Took it down, cleaned and oiled it. If it shoots as good as it looks, I will be buying more Ruger products.

This is just as expected for a 10/22. I have not fired it yet, but plan to this weekend. The stock is very nice. Bud's was great!

The gun is great! The ONLY reason why I gave a 3 star is because it was damage on the stock.. I fully understand that I could simply refuse and return in back, but I did not want to have to deal with the hassle. The locking device ended up scratching the wood. When I buy a new gun and it list the condition as "Factory New", then I EXPECT it to come no damage. Disappointed, but not enough to deny it/return it.

Other than that, its a Ruger. Not much needed to be said about this gun.

Just buy Ruger factory mags and you’ll be fine. You can get 15 round mags and 25 round mags. Butler Creek makes some also, but Ruger’s are more reliable.

Are there any options like a Tommy gun...hmm. Do you mean converting to a Thompson? If so, check out this website called 1022fungun.com. They have some modification options for a Ruger 10/22. To me it is expensive for the parts but will cost less than the Standard Manufacturing model. Plus the reliability of a 10/22 is great. Thank you.
