Lightweight accurate and reliable. Not a hiccup with it so far. My only recommendation is to buy an apex tactical trigger kit as the trigger is VERY heavy from the factory.

I received my S&W 642 Airweight 38SPL w/CT in a very timely manner and consider it my new concealed carry weapon, replacing my previous semi-automatic pistol that could possibly jam, stovepipe, or have some other malfunction. This revolver is basically foolproof! It is compact, lightweight and easily concealable in my pocket holster. The added Crimson Trace is extremely accurate, and the extended rubber grip provides better grip and control of recoil while shooting, especially with 38+P rounds. I would highly recommend this revolver to anyone who is looking for a compact concealed carry weapon, or just target practice. I wouldn't recommend using +P rounds for target practice though, other than to try them out to feel the recoil.
