For the price it’s a great rifle the weaver scope is junk I replaced it with a vortex crossfire. At 200 yards with the federal 150gr non typical it makes a nice 1/4 inch group.

Solid rifle for just $300. Having such a light stock for something as big as a .30-06 makes it kick pretty hard. But otherwise a decent gun overall. About what you'd expect.

Only bought this rifle because of the $75 rebate. Savage wouldn't accept Buds invoice as a receipt and denied the rebate. I will never buy a savage again. Buds get 5 stars, Savage get -10.

this gun is about the 20th or so gun i have bought from Buds.{30 06 }. i have always had a great experience with Buds and i tell everyone that will listen to me about how great buds are. I will not and do not buy guns from anyone else because of their price and great service. i give them a 5 out of 1-5 rating.

I've only used hollowpoint full copper rounds while firing. The bullet type has tendency to jam when manually fed. This is not in reflection to the rifle itself. Now with that said I LOVE THS TOOL. XOXO HI IGHLY RECOMENDED

This is a very nice rifle. For the price some people are wanting something for nothing. Recognize and buy what you can afford and read up on what you are purchasing that way you can appreciate what comes. Bud has always done well by me and once again for what I paid this is a nice rifle.
