Best little .22 addition ever. The barrel makes this handgun more accurate than far more expensive guns.

I would recommend this if you have a HP 22, It's a factory part about 18% less at bud's then on the phoenix web site. Mine fit great and gives the pistol a different look and feel, and the extended mag lets you get a full grip. I know the hp .22 has some neg reviews but i like mine and with a little modification it's a fun and accurate pistol. i have a few .22 pistols and i like them all but i find myself shooting this one the most. And for the price I'm seriously considering getting another one, so i can keep one set up with the longer barrel and one with the stock barrel.

First off I love the little Phoenix Arms HP's. We have 2.
My wife prefers the short barrel, I prefer the long. Longer sighting radius, a little more speed, a little more energy. I prefer the feel of the longer barrel.
Each of these guns is kept unloaded, with 2 loaded magazines, and a plastic box with 100 rounds of ammo in a zippered bag in the drivers door pocket of our car.
Yes they just live out there. Once or twice a year they get brought in, oiled up, checked over, get a range trip. Get cleaned up with an oily q-tip, wiped down and go back in the bag and back in the car. Just in case.
Better to have and never need it than to need it and not have it.
Barrels switch quickly and easily once I watched a youtube video and knew what I was doing.
This is a great product that IMO goes with a great little gun.
150$ tops for a good little 10 shot semi auto that you can afford to just leave in the car/truck. That you can afford to replace if stolen.
That gives you the option to defend yourself or your family if needed.

As always Buds has a lower price, even lower than Phoenix Arms. I purchased this for my new 22 lr. hp22a pistol that i purchased from Buds but have not yet test fired. The Good, Fast shipping from Buds with e-mail notifications along the way. The magazine works great and the pinky rest at the bottom is comfortable. The longer barrel makes my already accurate pistol even more accurate.
The Bad, The barrel was a horrible fit to the pistol. One of the flat sides that fits against the slide had a visible curve to it. I had to file it high spot down to prevent the slide from binding. Someone at the factory had already used a grinder to remove the nickle, copper platting and some of the zinc base metal from the lug that interfaces with the roll pin so that it would actually fit. It looks horrible.
Summary, I paid under $40 for a great magazine and a barrel that looks a little ugly on the underside, but it works after some fitting. All said, I'd buy it again.

Works very well. Read manual carefully. Using the other barrel or magazine to keep spring contained is easy with practice.
