Bought these magazines for me and a friend, they DO FIT/ FUNCTION in the RP45!!!! YEAH, they also fit /function in my para p13 as did my factory Remington RP45 mags. The plastic sleeve comes right off or you can trim it to avoid the backstrap from the rp45 . Pike all high cap mags they need some breaking in , and the last few rounds are hard to get in . That is entirely a function of the spring pressure necessary to elevate the cartridges fast enough to feed properly, remember .45 acp is twice as heavy as 9mm, on average. Great product, acceptable price

I purchased two of these magazines for use with my Rock Island double-stack 1911. Loading the magazines gets progressively more difficult once you reach ten rounds, leading up to the nineteenth and twentieth rounds, which required a fair deal of force to fit into the magazine. The magazines do fit the RIA 1911, however that fit is so tight that they require a sharp slap to seat in, and a fair effort to pull out. I've put 400 rounds through the mags in the last week, and in that time I've had two failures to feed, both at exactly the tenth round, which I found strange. Having said that, two failures in four hundred rounds is excellent for factory mags, let alone aftermarket ProMags, which have a miserable reputation. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

A:Monticello, I strongly believe that it would as the doublestack 1911 magwell design specifications should be identical or nearly identical.See 1 more answer | -

A:Jeff some owners claim the RP45 was originally designed around the Para magazine as far as the magwell. You should be good with double stack Pars Magazines. The extra capacity will definitely be an advantage to a SHTF scenario. I would do a bit more research or perhaps check some RP45 forums before purchasing in any event.See 2 more answers |
