I took this carbine to the range out of the box and ran aprox 150 rounds on it. It was the cheapest ammo I found. It worked flawlessly. No jams or misfeeds. I do not go very often or regularly to the range but it was very accurate and in fact it exceeded my expectations. The only complaint would be that is a bit heavy for me. Next time I take it to the range it will be with optics, bipod and ammo with a bit more quality. I am guessing it will perform beautyfuly too.

This is my second Hi-Point carbine and I’m pleased with the purchase. If you want an inexpensive pistol caliber plinker, this is a good option.

Received this rifle today at lunch time...…..I took it out of the box screwed the charging handle on.....Loaded 10 rounds into the mag......Set up a target at 30 yards......Fired all 10 from a standing position .....This carbine is awesome dead on out of the box every shot in the red with connecting holes and im not a great shot...….In the past month I have shot a Ruger pc carbine a CZ Scorpion in 9mm …..This rifle is more accurate than both not saying those aren't great guns they are but Hi Point has there act together .The only bad thing I have heard about Hi Point is the 10 round mag.....SO WHAT ….Im not going to war......And the trigger which I found it just fine...….Recoil is hardly noticeable......I would of bought a more expensive 9mm carbine but I didn't have a lot of money but knowing what I know now if I was rich id go Hi POINT .
