First a Shout Out to Buds for their excellent customer service! This order was complete, exact and fast! I mainly looked at PCC's because I already the .40 cal in sidearm and like the KISS principle. I looked at other brands but read reviews of how accurate and reliable this Hi-Point PCC was..and this holds true here. With about 300 rounds through the pipe( at a range that only allows one second intervals), this machine has operated flawlessly using ammo from at least four manufacturers...including both target and hollows. I did install an aftermarket trigger spring which considerably lightened the press and removed the gritty OEM feedback. As I've read from other reviews, the charging handle bolt will not stay tight, which is no big deal for me...heck it comes with a wrench. Disassembly for cleaning is easy although I did cheat and watch a video. The ghost-ring iron sights are quite functional alone and simple to adjust but I did bolt on a low-end red dot to be more effective with target acquisitions in low light conditions. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase , Thanks Buds!

Got this one to go with the rest of my Hi Point carbine collection. Pretty accurate at the range and is fun to shoot. Although I think it would be great if Hi Point came out with a better looking higher capacity magazine, other than the one they offer.

I received this hi point about one month ago and already have fired it several times with no problem at all using different sheep's. Its a great gun very well made and fun to shoot and I am very much happy with Buds guns. Fast and dependable I will do more of my shopping here therw them and I have to hand it to Hi Point for making a great carbine

Just got it from ffl. Looks great took 12days from the time I ordered it to when I picked it up. I'm giving buds 5stars, however my gun came with two extra mags one if these was the wrong caliber. I don't think this was buds fault the box was labeled correctly but wrong mag inside. This was my first online gun purchase,great way to go. Will definitely use buds again.

Awesome gun! Dead on accurate out if the box. First shot dead center on paper. No FTF, FTE and hand loads are all I've fed it. Very light recoil as well. Weird sling, but that's ok. Great value, in my opinion. If you're thinking about getting one, quit thinking and order it! Buds was excellent to work.

I have had 2 hi point .40 handguns, one was stolen so I bought the one I currently and will continue to own, but never made a carbine purchase until I couldn't resist anymore. shipping took a little longer than my other purchases from buds but in these times that is to be expected. once received I looked over the rifle and was really impressed with the overall feel. it did come with 3 mags total as well as the stock mounted holder for 2 of them, a sling with mounts, and the standard trigger lock. I have only shot 10 rounds so far but that was right when I got home with no cleaning or sighting in, and it performed excellent with Winchester fmj rounds. the gun is solid and interchangeable magazines between it and my handgun is a serious plus and one huge reason I bought it. hi point will always have those that hate downing their company but I pay no attention to them as any company that releases affordable reliable weapons and has no issue making any problem right is always a company I will go with so if your looking for a .40 carbine with 3 mags with it, this is one to definitely check out.
