This lower features a mil-spec 7075 T6 aluminum forging and is hard coat anodized black. The markings are AM-15 CAL .223 / 5.56 mm but the lower will accept any standard AR mags. - 7075 T6 Aluminum forging - Mil-spec Dimensions - Hard coat anodized finish - Marked AM-15 CAL .223 / 5.56 mm - SAFE and FIRE selector markings - Accepts all standard AR-15 magazines

    Hi Joseph, Yes you're correct this is an Upper. Here's the correct specs on it. Get started building your personal AR rifle with the Anderson Stripped AR-15 A3 Upper. This upper is constructed from Aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum and features an anodized matte black finish. The upper is in a standard configuration with dust cover and forward assist sections. This upper is machined with M4 feed ramps. ----
