Binyamin, I would double check with your local FFL dealer because I don't think this is legal in new York state. Because if this was for a rifle it has a pistol grip, so it's restricted. If you build it into a pistol it accepts a detachable magazine outside of the pistol grip. So either way it's restricted. So I'd contact your local FFL dealer and double check but pretty sure this is a no go. Sorry but hope this helps. The lower assembly was excellent I attached it to my 556 shorty and it performed very well for the price I got it you couldn't have purchased the parts to build it yourself also saved alot of time I have purchased numerous guns and parts from buds and all have been excellent with good prices and quality

Once again impeccable service from Buds Guns. As for the complete Anderson lower, wow! what a great deal, I thinks it's really amusing that the brand snobs call Anderson the poverty line in AR parts, I have had many higher priced, that have been trouble free, but I have also had several Anderson lowers that have all been flawless in operation. This particular lower has ambi safety and functions as any lower should, yes, it hasn't got a competition light trigger, never the less, it does the job for a range or home defense rifle/pistol. Well made and exception value.
