Received gun covered in oil. Had to totally disassemble and clean due to everything down to the firing pin and extractor channel being heavily covered in rust from the blueing process. I had failure to feeds nearly every round. After many attempts on removing and trying to tune the extractor I ended up just dropping in a Wilson combat bulletproof extractor which required some filing down so the gun would go into battery. Now I have absolutely zero issues and it’s one of my favorite guns to shoot and the trigger is very light at just 3.5 lbs! Love this gun

The front strap is very sharp. Needed a good cleaning and oil to loosen up. But looks and feel great.

This 1911 has a super smooth action and a really nice trigger pull. Fit and finish are better than good, and no plastic parts. I have not papered it yet. My only complaint is the sights need some attention, hard for me to see without white or orange contrast. Great Buds service and price as always!
