Is the lower ceracoated or is the plastic actually fde

The Frame is Cerakoted in the FDE coloring, not Molded plastic in Fde.

The description says MOS but the photo doesn’t have the rail or optic cut out.

James, yes sir, this is a Glock 43x mos model. Buds uses stock photos so they don't always match the best. I always recommend googling the upc 688099401795 and you can find better pictures and information. Hope this helps.

Is this a Gen 4 or 5?

Hi Justin, it is neither. It's considered it's own profile - Slimline. It bears more resemblance to Gen 5 but Gen 5 parts will not fit, you will need to order parts for the Slimline. Stay safe & have a great day!

Justin, the 43x doesn't have a gen but it's based off gen 5. So it has the marksman barrel and ndlc finish like gen 5. Hope this helps.
