First off buds is great and shipping was fast. This revolver out of the box was very dry and needed to be oiled for it to function properly. It's accurate and fun to shoot. Bought it for my wife to use and she can handle it no problem. The only negative is the hammer pull in single action is extremely heavy and double action is more so. She doesn't like it for that reason because after a few rounds it's very fatiguing to the thumb and hand because of the extremely heavy pull. This is our first Taurus and it's a working solid revolver for a budget and will do what it's supposed to but we prefer smith and Wesson for a better shooting experience and better quality out of the box. Nothing better than a S&W but if you are on a budget and don't mind doing some tlc before use this Taurus is worth a purchase just don't expect it to operate like a smith and Wesson.

This is a beautiful and well crafted 38 special!!! It's well balanced, light weight yet durable!!! It feels great in my hand and is perfect for my large hands! I absolutely love this Taurus 856!!!
