  You cannot add a stock without registration and a $200 tax, because then it would be a SBR.
  This is a pistol as configured, so you can add a pistol brace without running afoul of the law.

• Q: Did they make any other changes to this model or just the Side Optics Mount?

  Hi Kelly, in addition to the side mount, the newer models have a removable brake or flash hider and both the 7.62x39mm and 5.56x45mm Hellpups have muzzles threaded the traditional 14x1 LH, so now you can add a suppressor if you so choose. The older models have the muzzle devices welded on.
  They also now come with either cast or forged trunnions. Previously they were all cast. This model has the forged trunnion.
