ELEY FORCE .22 LR 42GR. - Brass Casing

I bought this ammo to try out for the Lapua Rimfire Practical competitions. It did show a moderate increase in muzzle velocity but also quite an increase in variance (measured by min/max and SD on both Magnetospeed and LabRadar). So while dialed turret elevation decreased (good) my spread at 350-400 yds increased too much (bad). This was in a Volquartsen custom with a Sparrow SS suppressor. There are other shooters with different rifles who swear by Force. And they often outshoot me when the wind is up. C'est la vie. I just didn't find the velocity/spread tradeoff worthwhile with my rig.

Excellent ammo! The best price on the internet. Very accurate in my Ruger Charger where I get 1.5" groups at 100 yards. I shoot IHMSA small bore with my Charger, this ammo has reduced my missed shots dramatically.
