Ruger 10/22 Light Varmint Target .22 LR Semi Auto Rifle - 10+1 Rounds | 20" Barrel | Wood Stock | Blue/Black

My Ruger 10/22 model 31166 arrived after somewhat of a snafu. I purchased another 10/22 and everything was good till BUD's told me a couple of days later that weapon was out of stock, even though it appeared to be "in stock" and allowed me to make the order in the first place. Anyway, by the time I got that sorted out, three days had passed, and I had to begin anew with the order of the 31166 and begin the whole waiting period again for it to ship and finally arrive at my local FFL's shop. I have to say it is a fine-looking weapon and the wood stock is very nicely done. I will have to do some trimming on the stock, though, as it is not allowing the barrel to be fully floating at this time. The trigger is somewhat better than my entirely stock 10/22 model 01151 I have had for a few years. And the 20" barrel, though not fully 0.920 in diameter the whole length of the barrel, looks nice and robust, nonetheless. I have just finished mounting the Vortex Crossfire 2-7X32 scope and it looks very nice and clean, even with the addition of a bipod. I did install a new picatinny rail to allow the proper mounting of the scope for my needs. I am still pleased with the 31166 price- and quality-wise and I am sure it will be a fine shooter. BUD's does well for me, and I will continue to buy from them.

This is the best kept secret of the 10/22 line. I have two and both shoot on par with some of my target rifles. Trigger needs work but beyond that the barrel is capable of amazing groups.

This is the most accurate 10/22 I own, fit and finish are perfect, paired with a vortex crossfire this thing is a tack driver, squirrels dont stand a chance lol.pick one up you won't want to out it down

Put a mrd on it and can’t get enough of this thing. It’s the only gun I always take to the tenge with me every trip. No matter what I take to sight in or practice with I end up running this thing. Everyone loves it and it’s cheap to shoot

This is a nice semiautomatic 22lr. I have owned a few 10/22's but I did not realize that the varmint model was so different. The stock has some good weight to it. It has a high quality look and feel. The barrel is a long bull barrel, suppressor ready if you have one. The combination of the heavy stock and heavy barrel really sets it apart from my other 22s. Very accurate and you are confident when you pull the trigger that it is going where you were aiming. I have not found a load that it doesn't like yet, similar to my other 10/22s. You can't go wrong with this rifle.

It's a Ruger 10-22, really how much more can I add. Functions great comes with walnut stock, threaded muzzle and base for optics. It is a bit heavier than a standard model but it was purchased for rim-fire matches not carry so it's all good.

Great fun and accuracy but upgrading trigger, bolt release and mag release (which is a bit sticky) for quicker action.

worth the extra cash. I was shooting out to 150 meters “no wind of course” and was making constant hits on a five inch plate

I love this 10/22, very accurate and so far cycles every ammo I have ran through it. No complaints so far.
