Hi Eric, yes, the Light Varmint barrel is 20" long. It is chambered in 22LR with a 1:16" RH twist. Barrel has the LVT contour with a .920" tapered to .705" barrel diameter. Precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel features a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle. Barrel is fitted with a thread protector. Satin stainless finish. Stay safe & have a great day!

Is this walnut or birch hardwood?

Mike, Ruger & Talo both list this as 'hardwood sporter', it is actually grade of Beechwood that they simply label as hardwood. The models that use American Walnut are listed as such. Have a great day!

Gene, this has combination scope base adapter for both Weaver-style and .22 tip-off scope mounts included. The barrel is threaded so you can add a suppressor. Have a great day!

Abulajiang , no this is not NY complaint, a semi-auto cannot have both a detachable magazine and a threaded barrel. I ordered the rifle on a Sunday afternoon and then picked it up from the local gun store the following Friday. Awesome service and fast shipping, thanks Buds! I added a Vortex 4-12x40 scope, Ruger BX trigger, a couple Ruger BX-25 magazines, Magul MOE bipod, as well as a variety of KIDD parts/upgrades. The rifle shoots amazing. Unbelievable accuracy after sighting in the scope. With the bipod, I was easily shooting 2" groups at 100 yards, but my friend was hitting sub 1" groups at the same distance. I need to work on my marksmanship! It's a very fun gun to shoot. I look forward to improving my skills at the range with it. Get this TALO LVT version while you still can!

I have put about 30 rounds through it so far. I installed an inexpensive Bushnell scope on it. I am not really surprised at the accuracy. I zeroed at 100 feet as that is the range of most of the varmints on my list. Its pretty cool to watch a five round cloverleaf happen even if it is only 100 feet away. Fit and finish with the gun is good, I love the stainless and a suppressor is in its future. I find that this light varmint target 10/22 from Ruger is worth every penny that I paid. Thanks Buds

This 1022 is a hefty rifle. Really good looking and solid. I don't shoot it very often but when I do it is enjoyable and is like shooting a much larger caliber rifle in weight and feel.
