Will this fit a mossberg 930 home security

Unfortunately no, it says specifically on other websites will not fit any other Mossberg models. This is specifically for the 590a1. Sorry but hope this helps.

Does anyone have any experience in installing the sling accessory part? Where does this accessory part get installed onto the 51771 by Mossberg 590A1 12g 20" 9SH CB PRK so as not to interfere with the bayonet when fixed? I notice the tube magazine cap has a hole for sling attachment but it seems as if that might interfere with the fixed bayonet either cutting or whittling at the sling as the point of sling attachment would be forward of the bayonet when fixed.

Hi Donald. 99% of these I see installed are installed in this same place or reversed to the other side. I do however see what you mean on the bayonet. The Forward Sling Mount is a sling attachment point for the Mossberg 590A1 series of shotguns which clamps onto the barrel and magazine tube. Designed specifically for the A1's heavy walled barrels, it can be configured for use with either Push-Button QD Sling Swivels or one-point clip-in style attachments such as the MS3 Paraclip™, the HK® hook, ITW™ MASH hook, and others.

Made from precision cast steel that is Melonite® treated for wear and corrosion resistance. Dedicated fit for Mossberg 590A1 models with factory extended magazine tube and will not fit other Mossberg models.

Nice sling mount. Allows sling from the side which is an improvement. Silicone pads so not to harm finish. Its reversible, QD on one side, loop on other. Sling loop indexes with a hex pattern allowing multiple options there.
