The MBUS Pro Offset Sights are part of an effective aiming system to supplement magnified optics on M1913 Picatinny mounting surfaces. In the event of a damaged or nonfunctional primary optic, or a close target, rotating the rifle 45 degrees provides the shooter with a fully-featured iron sighting solution. It features an all steel construction, case hardened and finished with Melonite QPQ, and windage adjustable with low-profile knob no tools required. Made in the USA.

I have really liked the "pro" series of MBUIS from Magpul. The off-set pair are perfect for that rifle with the pretty much permanant optic in the way of traditional position manual back-up iron sights

Easy to install. Comes with a detailed manual on installation and use. The elevation adjustment thumbsrew is a bit difficult to grasp due to the low profile. Positively locks into deployed or stowed position. Use in conjunction with Magpul's MBUS rear sight. They work well together as back-up sights. I have them on an AR-10 and they seem to stand up to the beating from 7.62. My only complaint is that Magpul doesn't market the sights as a set and give the buyer a little price break, but when you sell the best you can charge what you like...

It's well made, strong, and sturdy. The folding mechanism is tight and tactile and so are the elevation adjustments. At 45 degrees, it is straight vertically aligned with the bore. Not much else to say. Bud's has the best price on these.
