Made in the USA and allowing for a wider range of mounting location options, the M-LOK AFG is 3/4" shorter than the AFG-2 while maintaining a similar gripping surface area. By positioning the shooter's hand high on the centerline of the bore, unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the M-LOK AFG helps mitigate recoil and control the weapon to facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots. All hardware necessary for attachment directly to M-LOK Slots on either aluminum or polymer hand guards and forends is included.

I tried the Hand stop first but the AFG just felt more comfortable for my hand so I kept this installed on my main rifle. Great Magpul quality.

Good quality piece that does what it's supposed to and looks great. Just a word on installation the locktite type stuff they put on the threads really gums things up so you have to crank on them pretty hard while holding the little brackets with a pliers before mounting. There are details in the instructions so don't be afraid to read them lol.

Since this is one of the few m-lok angled fore grips on the market, I bought it hoping for the best. It's not too bad, and I don't plan on changing my setup, but I genuinely think its a little too small in my hand. I have normal sized hands for a man, and I feel like this should have been designed at least 1cm or 1/2" longer. Their is one other type on the market right now and I may try that one in the future, but if you were looking for an honest review there ya go.

I chose this angled foregrip because of it's compact size and the fact that it attaches directly to an m-lok rail, no piccatinny needed. Luckily Buds has them at the best price and as always shipping is fast. The magpul foregrip is not obtrusive on the rail and offers good hand purchase. Mine is on my newly built 10 1/2" pistol upper and is ideal for any ar.
