My experience order the X22 backpacker from Buds was awesome. The service provided was really fast. With this product you might want to give it some time to break in when it comes to the compartments. I love my Magpul X22 stock. Have a great day everyone.

Great stock and love it's features of holding more magazines in its stock.

I bought the Magpyl X22 Backpacker for a brand new Ruger 10/22 takedown model I bought. Ruger should just contract with magpul for these kind of stocks, as they're far superior to their own. The stock Ruger stock's gap at the takedown point was horrible-- large, angled and offset. The Magpul stock in comparison was a perfect fit out of box, with a tight even gap at the takedown point. This is great product, it's very compact and practical. I plan to use it as a backpacking rifle, but also just to through in the back of my truck to have for just-in-case moments. The storage compartments make for a nice little survival type package. Nothing negative to say about the Magpul X22 backpacker. Awesome product. Only improvement I can think of, would be having some adjustable spacers for the buttstock length.
