The RM09C is an LED sight powered by a standard CR2032 battery. Housed in rugged forged aluminum, it's extremely tough yet lightweight. The easy-to-use adjusters with audible clicks allow for quick windage and elevation adjustments. Featuring eight available brightness settings, the reticle can be manually adjusted by pressing the plus or minus buttons on either side of the unit. To switch to auto adjust mode, simply press both buttons simultaneously and release.

The RM09 Type 2 is a very good optic. The 1 MOA dot is not hard to pick up at all, so you can shoot fast with it and you can also stretch it out to longer distances easily. I have it on my G26 carry gun, nestled in to a custom milled Suarez slide, So it is still very easy to conceal thanks to its small footprint. The RM09 also has an optional auto-brighteness setting which is very responsive and sensitive. I didn’t find that it was washed out while using a flashlight at night with it. Allegedly it’ll run for four years on one battery. I can’t speak to that yet. As far as reliability, it’s a Trijicon - so there’s not much else to say. It’s a tank. Overall, I highly recommend it.
