This Matched Billet Receiver Set is the Real Deal
Loaded with features and machined from 7075 billet aluminum, this receiver set makes a great base for your next AR-15. The Smuggler is Bootleg Inc's first venture into the world of AR-15 lower receivers. Weighing in at 9.85 ounces and with a hard anodized finish, this lower receiver will stand the test of rigorous training while looking great for years to come. An ambidextrous bolt release knob and parts for installation allow for easy bolt drop with either hand. Hex head adjustable set screw ensures custom tight fit of the rear lug on any mil-spec upper receiver. Hex headed threaded pins allow for much safer and easier installation and maintenance of both bolt release knobs. Lastly The Smuggler comes with a hex set screw to contain the rear detent spring, no more juggling spring and back plate on install! The Smuggler utilizes a fully enclosed trigger guard, lightly flared mag well and is ready to accept any Mil-Spec lower parts kit that fits your unique needs.
The upper receiver is also machined from 7075 billet aluminum and Mil-Spec hard coat anodized for durability. The forward assist has been eliminated to save weight and reduce the risk of snagging, meaning this upper weighs in at just 7.2 ounces. A low profile brass deflector is a smart design that keeps brass out of your face without adding bulk, and a captured dust cover door pin eliminates the need for a C-clip.
