Will the 1-3/4” shells work in this Gun?

Unfortunately no, since this is semi automatic a 1-3/4 inch shell won't have enough power to cycle the bolt all the way back. You can use them but you would have to charge it after each shot because the bolt won't go back far enough to eject the shell and pick up another one. So you can but it would be a single shot. Hope this helps.

Can I load into the tube without magazine?

TRIET, unfortunately no Sir. The tube is blocked and is setup for detachable magazine firing only same as the Remington and Mossberg detachable magazine shotgun models. Cheers and stay safe.

no the mag tube is non functional and is there to contain the semi auto action parts
