An extremely delicate forging process results in the 150 layer stainless "typhoon pattern" Damascus, displaying a very fine structure. The bolsters are made of traditional Japanese Mokume, a combination of different non-ferrous metals forged together in a very complex process resulting in a Damascus-like pattern of different color.
