I bought the SCL-1. It is a good fit on my size 11 snow boots. They work well on ice and snow with a crusty surface. Mine have laces that go over and in front of the toe of my boots. They work perfectly as long as the toe isn't breaking through the crust with every step which sometimes pulls the lace of the front of the boot. I have seen these with a nylon strap coming over the toe to the strap around the ankle. Even though I think that's a better idea I am still happy with this pair.
