OPTIMA V2 SS/Black-.50 Cal-KonusPro 3-9x40 with Soft Case - While the new OPTIMA V2 shares the name of its popular predecessor the �Version 2� gun has a completely different design in many ways. Modeled after CVA�s top-of-the-line ACCURA V2 the OPTIMA V2 features the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever internal parts and �neutral center-of-gravity� trigger. Add in CVA�s Quick Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable without any tool what-so-ever) 100% ambidextrous stock and CrushZone recoil pad and you�ve got a gun with more quality features than any other muzzleloading rifle in its price range. I love this rifle. Shoots extremely well. Easy to use, easy to handle, easy to clean. I shot a nice 4 point mule deer with it this last year. One shot at about 150 yards.

I bought this Optima v2 for the wife to replace a t/c impact. I've always been a t/c guy but the wobble in the action of the impact was horrible. This Optima is as tight as my t/c pro hunter and shoots just as well. 1inch groups at a 100 yds with little effort.

Received Muzzleloader in only a 3 days via normal shipping; everything packaged appropriately and properly. As for the CVA Optima itself, the weapon was in order and on-paper the 1st shot (50 yards). By the 3rd shot I was punching holes in the black. Case, instruction booklet, and accessories package sealed and properly enclosed. Weapon shoots and operates smoothly with surprisingly limited recoil (100 grain loads - 245 gr powerbelt). After 3 shots, the QRBP unscrewed easily for cleaning. The only less-than-flattering comment regarding this package is the KONUS 3-9 scope - the actual reticles are very fine (thin) and difficult to quickly focus on when compared to most other scopes. Overall a wonderful product at a very good price sold thru a fine establishment. Highly recommend product and Buds Guns.

Awesome .50 Cal muzzleloader! Buds shipping was fast! I bought this in November 2017 and used to take my buck this late December muzzle loading season in Iowa . Gun shoots accurate! I highly recommend CVA inline rifles. I will be buying more guns from Buds in the future! Want a CVA Accura PR and Ruger Bushmaster! Thanks Buds!

Ordered the Muzzleloader on Friday and received on Tuesday of the next week. Incredible shipping times and it came as advertised. The scope and mounts were already installed when it arrived. I took it to the range today and was able to put it on paper with the first shot. It only took me 3 shots to fully dial in the rifle. Overall, I am very pleased with Buds and I will be back in the future.
