I have not had a chance to fire the rifle yet. I can however report on the process. The ordering was simple ,the delivery was very fast,, and the Traditions Kentucky is a beautiful rifle at the best price available.

My rifle arrived quickly and was delivered as-advertised. It is a gorgeous rifle. The fit and finish on mine is top-notch. I replaced the stock nipple with a musket cap version since I have those caps and #10 or 11 percussion caps are unobtanium right now. I charge it with 75 grains of FFG, load it with a .490 ball and .15 patch and it groups just fine at 100 yards. I could put 5 balls into a pie plate, no worries. The buttplate was designed by a masochist and is more suited as a club than an ergonomic instrument. If you misalign it just a quarter of an inch on your shoulder and touch it off, you will immediately regret it and your range session will probably be cut short for the day. I have a fist-sized tie die bruise on mine and it's 4 days later. Respect the fifty...it doesn't really care about your feelings and will **** you up. Even though it kicks like an angry mule in a hot barn, I love it. It's a great deal at $450 and free shipping. Jump on it and get one. Just respect it and shoulder it properly every single time.

Rifle was just as advertised and shot excellent group right iut of the box. Rear sight needed minimal adjustment to get 10x shots with 1 inch group. Service was excellent and delivery time acceptable during this covid time. Would recommend to anyone.
