This is my second Kahr P380. I use this a my EDC, this is a very accurate gun, you will be amazed. Fits great in shorts pocket in summer time.

Buds, as always excellent. Now the Kahr. What does the BLEM mean as I could not find anything imperfection. it functions perfectly but as you fin on the various forms it does not like a couple brands. but for the ones that it like it run perfectly, FMJ or hollow points. Great price, wonderful firearm.

After reading reviews about this gun on various forums I freaked out. Of course, this was after I ordered it and was waiting to get my gun from Buds (more on this later...). I even called the customer service here to make sure what reasons would suffice for refusing the transfer, which I ended up finding out was pretty liberal (in a good way -- the lady said, "Even if you don't like the weight of the gun, just refuse it"). Of course, this makes me question the 10% restocking fee for changing an order (which I probably would have done, and purchased a gun about $100 more, had it not been for that restocking fee), but that's another rant all-together. Anyway, after finding new Kahr prepping and lubing posts on Kahrtalk.com, I decided to bite the bullet and try it out. After all, this would be the ultimate in concealability, which was what I was after (I've been alternating between pocket-carrying a Glock 27 [too big to be small, too small to be big] and a Ruger SP-101 in .357 for the last few years-- I was ready for a change). I took 275 rounds of ammo to the range today after picking the gun up yesterday, and spending some time last night cleaning it down and otherwise following instructions from Kahrtalk.com (minus anything involving a dremel or sand paper...). Of the 275 rounds, I had 100 rounds in which the gun failed to return to battery. Yikes, right? Well, not really. All 100 were with the same brand of ammo (Perfecta FMJ) while every other type of ammo (Blazer Brass FMJ, PMC FMJ, Hornady Critical Defense, and Fiocchi Extrema [which will be my carry round after doing some research on shootingthebull.net]) functioned perfectly. Without a flaw. No problems. None. This gun is ammo sensitive, so don't go to the range with just one type until you know for sure that it works. Had I gone with just the Perfecta, I'd probably be giving a 1-star rating and preparing to ship it back for warranty work. The only negative about the transaction was the time it took to get the firearm. I placed the order on Tuesday on the week leading into Labor Day weekend and didn't get the gun until the Friday after Labor Day. I think it's because I thought the savings would be larger for using a check rather than just using a credit card. However, I've decided that, for me, the minimal savings didn't justify having to wait the extra time for my check to clear. Not the fault of Buds, I guess, but it seems like if I'm saving them from the credit card transaction fees, I should get a bit better than waiting 11 days to get a gun. I know the holiday weekend and protecting against fraud and all, but my next purchase will be done with a credit/debit card to get the gun a bit quicker. Why not check with my bank to verify funds and just send the gun out? Oh well... In terms of the blemish, I could only find some very small tool marks that I probably would not have noticed were I not looking for them. Follow the recommendations on Kahrtalk, have different brands of ammo, and don't listen to people who say the only guns worth getting MUST fire six million rounds of any ammo or caliber out of the box with NO failures and even if it is covered in mud or being lit on fire. I think most of those people get their shooting experience from video games, rather than real guns. Oh, I almost forgot: mine came with the two six round magazines and seven rounder to boot. In the end, great pistol, easy experience, and a happy customer.

This is my first Kahr pistol and it won't be my last. I was a little hesitant to buy a "blem" gun but, I can't find anything on this gun that looks blemished. It's perfect. My entire experience here at Buds was great from the first "make an offer" to the final shipment everything went smoothly. This gun was purchased as a summer carry gun and for that it's amazing. Well made and shoots great. This just beat out my S&W Bodyguard for my new summer carry. Great trigger. I'll be looking for it's 9mm big brother next.

Extra fast service from Buds. I had to search hard to find the blemish on my gun. A tiny dot on the 8 and the 0 in the engraving "P380" on the slide. Well worth $90 off. The gun is excellent quality. Very small and easily and comfortably concealable. Fits well in my hands and extremely accurate with decent sights for a little 380. Shot 1 inch group in center of target at 21 feet with Hornady Critical Defense HP's. Trigger is outstanding for a DAO pocket pistol. I had to FTF in first 200 rds and a few failure of slide to lock with empty mag. The failure of slide to lock was 100% operator error. With this small gun you must be careful to not put any pressure on the slide lock release with your thumb, as this will prevent slide lock on an empty mag. After modifying my grip, I have had no issues of any sort. Since this gun is VERY tight and it is one of my primary carry guns, I do recommend cleaning it after each 50-100 rounds.
