Steyr Arms L40-A1 40SW 12RD BLK 4.5 - 12 Rounds

Very pleased with this purchase. I owned a last gen Steyr M40 which I did not keep due to jamming issues, but those problems have been cured on this generation. Very accurate and reliable. Trigger is better than Glock but not as good as an HK VP. Swapped out the barrel for a .357 sig which is snappy, but fun. The low center of mass slide makes this one of the softest shooting polymer framed guns on the market.

First off Buds was great as usual. I picked up my L40 back in September. Since I have just shy of 1200 round through it. This is by far the best 40 I've ever fired. Feels less like you're shooting 40 and more like 9mm +P. Even friends who detest shooting 40 like shooting the Steyr. I had the M9-A1 a few years ago. But if I had know the Steyr's made the 40 this enjoyable I'd have several more. As of yesterday I just ordered the S40-A1 from Buds. Thanks Buds. And I plan to pick up the M40-A1 come tax time. If you are even thinking of getting a Steyr whether it be a 9mm or 40. Stop thinking about and get it! You won't regret it.

I've shot these handguns side by side with many others and find the low bore axis very helpful with recoil control. The sights are a bonus as well, definitely top shelf.

Awesome gun.... could not be more happy with product. The g looked and shot perfectly. I highly recommend it. The recoil is small even my 12 year old boy can shoot it with easy.

Bud's delivered again....... I love the L series of the A1's, I have six STEYR handguns and love them all. I love the sights and the longer sight picture is great. STEYR A1's are very low recoiling and the L shines in this respect. Uses the same magazines as the other handguns in the caliber so that is a bonus as well. I cannot say how much I love these handguns...... I have owned and shot about anything you can think of in caliber or type of handgun and in my opinion, STEYR builds the best striker fired pistol made.......I know, I know... Glock is a good gun too, but since Both had the same designer, I think the little brother got better upgrades.

Picked up my Steyr L40-A1 today from my FFL Dealer. Thank you Buds. This is my 4th Seyr hand gun. Never had any issues with my S9-A1 ( my concealed weapon ), my C9-A1 or my M40-A1. The Steyr L40-A1 is a great hand gun and after taking it out to the range today it too has minimum recoil. Shipment from Buds was fast a usual. I recommend anyone looking for a great Glock alternative, check out the Steyr hand guns. Everything about it in my opinion is far superior. Many holsters are now available for all models.
