Since receiving my CVA Scout v2 pistol in 300 BLK I have spent numerous days developing load data and firing it. I have fired over 100 rounds with my suppressor attached and achieved exceptional results. My loads are extremely accurate and super quiet.

Have not shot or taken any game with it as of yet. Really like and or love it on target. Shoots incredibly well. Plan on getting another one asap.

Excellent product, simple gun design means less to go wrong! I have had no issues with this gun, and while only putting about 60 rounds through so far, it is way more accurate then I would have guessed (if you use the right optic)

Love this thing put a vortex scout scope and putting a good group together at 100 yards

What can I say, I’m a huge fan of anything CVA, and this “pistol” is right there with the rest of ‘em. It does have a small hop to it but it’s very manageable. I have a bipod on mine just because it looks cool and I have something to hold on to while firing which helps with recoil. No much to say about it really, it’s just a fun little gun to shoot. P.S I’m kidding, there is no recoil with this thing! Just buy one if you can fine they in stock!

Perfect for Missouri alternative season. I mounted a sig red dot on provided rail and shoot good groups with various 300 blackout ammo. Attach my suppressor to the threaded barrel and subsonic ammo is Hollywood quiet. Great pistol and great experience with Buds.

This is a fabulous fire arm, I fitted this little pistol with a Bi-Pod, Scope, Strap and because it had a threaded barrel i had to add a Suppressor, this works great with sub sonic ammo, that yes, comes in .300 caliber. After bringing it to the range and showing it off to the bench mates, i proceeded to test fire and sight in the scope, it took 3 shots to hit dead center at 100 yards, this shoots better than my rifle, if you can find one, buy it, i thought i got the last one!

This pistol is a blast to shoot. It's a relatively lightweight, single-shot handgun shooting a rifle cartridge. So, yeah, it's a blast to shoot, literally. It's a head-turner at the range, that is for sure. I put a pistol scope on it and use it as a hunting pistol. I can reliably hit a clay pigeon at 50 yards using shooting sticks. And, with the right bullet choice, this is a handy hunting option. It's ambidextrous. It's solidly built. It has a sweet trigger. Seriously, it is a light trigger. And, it has a 5/8x24 threaded barrel, so, if you live in a state where you can own a suppressor, this gun would be perfect suppressor host option. It is a ton of fun to shoot. I love CVA products. The barrels are made by Bergara, and they make accurate stuff. Thanks, BudsGunShop.

In my opinion the CVA Scout 300 Black Out is of excellent quality. Breech opens easily and cleaning is a snap. I put a sling stud on the front hand guard and carry mine across the back. I also have a chest holster rig that I got from CVA and a large scope size Bandolier type holster that fits many of my pistols. I shoot MOA tight groups at 50yds (off bags) and consistent one-inch groups at 100 yards. I shoot only (my choice) Gorilla Ammo 300 Black Out Subsonic 115 Grain hunting rounds out of it. As the barrel is threaded, I run a designated AAC762 Suppressor, and it is close to HOLLYWOOD MOVIE QUIET as one can get. The suppressor is encased in a heat shield sleeve made just for that model. On right side between pistol grip and front handguard I glued on a Short Action Precision 2 round fabric ammo holder for that needed second shot. But have found one shot is all it took. For an optic I put on a Weaver Classic 2x6 Pistol Scope with superb eye relief inside Leupold rings. I suggest you clean and reset the pistol rail using Blue Loctite. The safety mechanism takes a little getting used to but becomes more user friendly as one test drives the pistol. It is Not light with or without all my accoutrements. One must shoot with two hands spread out on the weapon as you would a rifle and I use a shooting stick if in a ground blind or the tree or rail or knees if in a tree stand of some kind. I am sure shooting a red dot on it would work well. This is a hunting weapon-period, and it is NOT an everyday carry EDC type of pistol. A blast to shoot, little recoil compared to my other toys and simply a one-shot pony that does the deed on deer and wild hogs very well. Get one today. Old Nam Vet-Semper Fi 67-71NOTE: Buds Guns made a mistake in their listing this product at $6,5643.21. How they did that I have no clue. I think when I bought this it ran between $200 to $300 range.
