This upper is an excellent option for building an AR pistol that will let you use your existing pistol or SBR lower with a standard carbine buffer and modified AR15 5.56 PMags...since the CMMG fires from a locked bolt...you don’t have the issues associated with blow back actions/bolts found in other builds...much smoother, less recoil and less stress on the lower. It’s a little more expensive than other alternatives, but if you have ever fiddled with a PCC to get it to function 100% ...the CMMG upper is worth the price. Plus CMMG uppers and firearms hold their value...this purchase was a win win. And as usual, Bud’s was great to do business with 👍👍👍
