This is a great holster overall. VERY solid and durable construction, which is typical for Galco products, which I've been using consistently for over 20 years now. This holster will hold up over time; no doubt about it. It fits my Glock 19 like a glove, and rides VERY high up and close to the body. This makes it fantastic for concealment, but is a drawback elsewhere--see below. The holster is quick to break in. When I got it, I worked the strap with my hands for about half an hour, pretty roughly, and after that it was loosened enough to quickly snap over my firearm using only one hand. Prior to that, it was a VERY tight fit, so don't be discouraged. Just work it a bit and you'll be just fine! Reholsters are a breeze.
The downsides aren't serious, but should be mentioned. At about $100, this holster isn't particularly well priced, and I have seen--and own--a couple of holsters of identical design from other manufacturers that are just as good but for far less money. I bought it only because Bud's had it for significantly less than anyplace else. Even their COP 3, which has even more carry options, costs less money but is identical to this holster in every other way!
Although the holster is GREAT for concealment, with a very high and tight to body fit, that comes with a downside. This pistol will not be lightning fast to draw. Not because of the retention, but because it rides up SO high that it'll probably take most of us a bit to get a good hold on it for the draw.
The snap, which is easy to manipulate after working the strap in, retains very well but I have noticed a problem. Because of the location of the strap, the portion that sticks up--which is what you'd use to disengage the retention--it is relatively easy to bump it with your arm or elbow and pop it open. While the holster still holds very tight, it will require double-checks throughout the day if you want to be certain the snap is fastened.
The fit of the gun to holster is tight--VERY tight. Granted, I have only been carrying it for a couple of weeks, but it is still a VERY snug fit and I REALLY have to pull to get it out, and with no adjustable retention, there's no way to work around it. I just have to hope that it loosens up a bit more with use. Either way, I don't think it holds so horribly tight that it would be a dangerous disadvantage. With a bit of adrenaline going through me, I doubt I'd notice the tight fit.
All in all a great holster for concealed carry. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, it will no doubt last a couple of decades with proper care, and I say that from experience. The first holster I ever purchased, for a Beretta 92FS from Galco nearly 25 years ago is still going strong!

I ended up cutting the snap flaps off of this holster. They would not reach far enough to snap over my Glock 19 like it was supposed to. Guess I could have sent it back but I still like the look of this holster.
