Cimarron 1872 Open Top Army 44 Special Revolver - Case Hardened, 7.5" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Wood Grips

The pistol itself is a close to an authentic open top revolver as you can get,it is really fine quality and the precision of the machining is almost perfect,if you are the type of collector that wants an open top revolver,,you can't go wrong with this one!!

WOW!! this is a beautiful gun. the action is "the" slickest I have ever felt. Everything about this gun is unbelievable. Cimarron/Uberti does an incredible job on this.

Absolutely love this revolver. Lockup is tight, better than the majority of my modern revolvers and accuracy is impressive, shoots to point of aim. Finish is very nice and balance is exceptional. For those who love shooting Colt Clone Cap and Ball percussion revolvers this is the cartridge handgun for you. I highly recommend this firearm. Bud's was awesome as usual!

Long wait, big disappointment. First Buds is great, I have been buying form them for years. The Open top was terrible though, I should have inspected it before accepting it, The hammer cocks and cycles as it should, until you get to number four chamber, it jams. Then you take it apart, put it back together, same thing again. Called Cimarron, they were really nice, said they would take care of it so now I have to send it in to their repair center. Would I buy it again? If I knew this would happen no.

Just wanted to write out a quick review for my recent purchase of (2) Open Tops. Started out by trading in some other guns to apply the credit towards the new purchase. That actually went smoother than I expected. Once the guns were assessed, I was given my credit towards the layaway. A few months later guns were paid for and were shipped out very quickly. If it wasn't for the weekend, I would have received them several days later at my FFL. Both guns were just as stated (NIB). But the thing I was most happy about was that they were consecutively numbered. This was something I hadn't even thought of, so it was nice that Buds ensured that my guns would be this way. This is my fourth gun purchase from Buds and I have always had great service and great results. Buds has my business based on these two things. Couldn't be happier! CVolberg

beautiful revolver..ordered on Monday,recieved on Thursday,fired on Friday..use my own handloads..240 gr bullet 750fps..sights at actually very functional..hits steel silouetts at 25 m 10 for 10..juice cans at 25 m 3 or 4 for 5..gonna be one of my favorites.

Do not buy a firearm from Cimarron Firearms ! Ordered firearm [44 special] , looked the gun over before doing the paper work, it looked just fine. Got it home and tried to chamber a cartridge,no go. The chambers were not drilled deep enough. Called Cimarron , they told me to call there gunsmith to get a RA number. Got number and went to UPS to mail it . They said that without a RA label it would cost 80.00 to ship it overnight air [ the only way a pistol can be shipped by a individual ] . Called Cimarraon they said not there problem talk to gunsmith , gunsmith said he gives RA numbers not labels. He fixed the gun perfectly. But I am still out 80.00. Bottom line, it cost me 80.00 extra to get a working firearm from Cimarron Firearms!
