Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley 44mag Revolver - 6 Rounds, 3.75" Barrel, Wood Grips, Stainless/Silver

This was my biggest surprise in a long time. This handgun has the best trigger I have ever seen on a production handgun and the bisley frame is the most comfortable shooter. Shot light and heavy loads and was very well behaved is now one of my favorite 44mags to bust brass.

The trigger is not as good as I had hoped. There is some creep to it. Over all an the gun is accurate and very well built.

Likely my favorite gun. Even with its short barrel its very accurate. Handles well, very nicely finished and can handle any round I want to put through it. Only issue I've had is the rear sight pin sometimes will walk out (was shooting full power 330gr loads). All I had to do was take the pin out and put a very slight bend in it.
It took a bit to get use to the front sight. Its tough to quickly pick up under darker conditions (like a cloudy day in thick woods). I put a little white pen on it and it helps a lot. Front sight post is easily replaced and there is fiber optic options available so not a real problem.
Soaks up the recoil from full house .44 magnum rounds very well. I'm a pretty small guy too (5' 10").
VERY happy with it. Its a great size to carry and actually conceals pretty well (if I wanted too). I use it when I'm in the woods fishing with the kids and have full faith in the firearm.

Buds delivered yet another fine piece to my collection. The fit and finish was alright. Had to send it back for jagged edges and fixed a few scratches on it but the revolver fits my hands nicely with the Bisley gripframe. Once I cleaned / polished the working internals and the action was smooth as can be. I was pleasantly surprised on the trigger pull, best yet on any of my revolvers. A great buy and I’m glad I bought it when I did and I’ve had my eye on it for years. When it is available I highly recommend you get yourself one.

This thing was heavy! It was the first 44 mag I had ever shot and it was fun as hell! I shot it at an indoor range and everyone stopped shooting till I was done with all six shots. The concusions from it I guess we're to much! The dust on the floor , walls , and ceiling would fly when I shot this thing. A lot of fun but heavy , but the weight helped with recoil.

Buds got the gun super quick. Great service. The gun is a beauty. The bisley handle makes the recoil much easier to handle. The gun is very accurate with Hornady 240 grain XTP ammo. The laminate handles are very attractive. The only negative comment I will make is that the gun is too big and heavy to fit in my pocket. LOL! Definitely 5 stars.

I own two of this model Super Blackhawk. I bought the second one from Bud's and got a great price. This gun has amazing balance and a good trigger. The Bisley grip is excellent for heavy recoil loads. I also really like the 3.75 inch barrel. It makes a great belt gun for hunting and using the Corbon 165 gr. self defense load it is good for personal protection. The gun is built like a tank and shoots well and is very accurate. Targets at 25 and 50 yards are no problem. I use a 200 grain lead handload for general shooting. This revolver has turned out to be my favorite handgun. Couple this gun with a .44 Magnum rifle and you have a good boar/deer hunting package and a fun steel shooting package. I bought my .44 magnum Marlin rifle from Bud's at the best price I had found. Bud's is great and I like that they are supportive of Hickok45.
