This is my favorite carry piece. Yes, I'm partial to S&W M&P. Great gun. Sights right on out of the box. As with any S&W takedown and cleaning is easy. Good value.

First, fine usual service from Bud’s, thank you. Having used only large frame 45’s (1911’s and SIG 220’s) for the past 60 odd years this was my first venture into a compact model for concealed carry. Break in at the range consisted of a box of FMJ ball ammo and a 10” steel plate at 10 yds. The pistol consistently put five shots on the plate in 10 sec timed fire. Grip was firm and sights were easy to pick up after draw. Recoil was very manageable. There was one FTF probably because I did not lube before going out to the range. Only two minor complaints. First the reason for loading only five rounds were the super stiff magazine springs that provided too much challenge to load more than five without a tool. Secondly, you must read the manual take down procedure. Unlike the SIG, there is a “sear deactivation lever”, not easily seen, that must be moved manually to remove the slide. Otherwise the process is straightforward. I recommend this pistol as an effective carry weapon.
