Nice revolver, however the nickel finish like most nickel finishes scratches very easy so don't expect it to stay nice and shiny. Shoots nice.

The fit and finish is good. There are some places in the frame that could have been polished better,but for the price I can't complain. The revolver looks good and shoots great. I am pleased with it and I am very pleased with Buds gun shop. They got my order sent quickly. I will do business with them again. Thanks Bud !!

I love this gun so far. Beautiful nickel look to it. The grip is confortable and perfectly sized for my hands. Great for shooting single-handed too. For those who like a saftey, you'll wanna carry this with 5 rounds eith a cowboy load. The firing pin is part of the hammer and there is no saftey other than the first hammer-notch which holds the firing pin from resting on your primers. Great SAA piece!

This is one sweet gun!! This is my 3rd single action Pietta and it is a beauty. As always, excellent service from Bud's. The gun is a 4 click. Smooth as silk with an easy trigger pull. There guns are heavy enough to have very little recoil with .45LC ammo. Very accurate at 50 ft.- 75ft. Put 50 rounds through it today, and it was flawless. Fit and finish are excellent. All I can say is if you haven't tried a Pietta from Cimarron, you really should. Brings out the secret cowboy in all of us...

2nd Pistolero I've bought and the quality is great. I don't know how they compare to more expensive SA's, but I can't find any faults. I can cover my groups at 25 yards with a half dollar. And it's got the 4-click cocking same as the Colt. Buds is in a class to themselves as far as price, service and quick shipping.

A beautifully finished handgun, definitely worth the money! Only issue I had was the trigger was gritty and with noticeable creep. The trigger also had an uncomfortably sharp edge along the left side of the curve and 2 casting marks. Disassembled it to do a trigger-job. Noticed the sear surface was pretty rough and had a small horizontal scratch in it. Did some judicious stoning to polish the sear and all the mating surfaces and removed some sharp edges and burrs from the inside of the frame, especially at the hammer mating surfaces that were dragging on the hammer. Used a round stone to take the sharp edge off the left side of the trigger. Now slicked-up with a crisper 2.2lb trigger it’s an excellent SAA.
