• Q: I bought a newly designed small grip module for this firearm. If this gun has the old slide release lever, I will not be able to use it unless I buy and replace the slide release lever. Please let me know which slide release lever does it come with. Thank you.

  Sig has been using the smaller (newer) slide release for quite a while now, I don't think you'd get one with the older style. You could always refuse the transfer and return it if you did get the older style, but I'm confident you won't.

• Q: Can you remove the fire control trigger assembly with this model and change out calibers and grips. I know one model has an external trigger and those are not compatible, I know there are conversion kits not sure if this model or remaining P320’s are all Compatible for coversion

  George - there are many variations available that allow the owner to customize it pretty much to exactly what is wanted. The trigger assembly is legally the "firearm" as it has the serial number on it, and can therefore be fitted with several different grip modules and 'upper' assemblies.

• Q: Hello Everyone,
  What is the turn around time for Buds to go over submitted documents for the discount? It seems to have been awhile since I have submitted and still havnt even got an email letting me know it's being processed is this normal?

  Hi Jason, Buds will not notify you even though they say they will. You should be able to place QP items in your cart and purchase after 3 business days. Just do a mock check out on something and if Buds needs anything else from you they will let you know during the checkout attempt. You don't have to buy it but just try it.

  Alex, I tried to answer you question previously, but apparently I used a word that Buds auto parser didn't like and rejected it. I will give you a more simplified answer and hopefully avoid this issue. First off, the P320 is definitely striker fired. As to single (SA)/double (DA) action, let me give you some background. These two terms were coined originally for revolvers. A SA revolver's only releases the hammer to strike the primer. On a DA it rotates, the cylinder, pulls the hammer back and releases it to fire the gun. On the P320 as with vast majority of striker fired pistols the user must pull the slide back and release it to load the first round. When the trigger is pulled the bullet it fired, the slide action then forward and reloads the chamber from the magazine. The firing pin/ striker bar is set in the ready position and when the trigger is pulled the gun fires and the cycle is repeated until the last round is used. At that point most striker fired pistols including the P320 slides are locked back to the rear position. The operator then removes the empty mag and insert a loaded one into the mag well. The operator then must either pull the slide back beyond the locked position or depress the slide release button. The gun is now ready to fire just like the very first time a bullet was manually loaded into the chamber. The P320 is both a SA (first bullet) and DA.
