Amazing shotgun! Super light and so far runs like there is no tomorrow. There’s a bunch of upgrades you can make like a side saddle and flashlight. I highly recommend the Beretta pro lifter upgrade for easier loading. Very happy thanks Buds!

This is one hell of a shotgun. I grew up with pumps mostly Mossberg. Last year when I started looking at semi-auto options, I kept coming back to Beretta. Between the 1301 and the A300 Ultima Patrol, I made a last minute decision to go with the A300 (UP). My neighbor has the 1301. Me having shot both and comparing apples to apples, oranges to oranges pound for pound, I have no regrets with my purchase. The icing on the cake is Buds outstanding service. I ordered on a Monday and it was @ my FFL 4 days later.

Expected better quality from beretta. I received the firearm broken. The front sight was spinning freely. I tried tightening it but it was stripped. Poor quality

I spent a lot of time looking at these shotguns. Wasn't sure if I liked the removable chokes. I have to admit after I bought the LE version and saw that it was a Modified Cylinder I was pretty pleased. I was also concerned about the barrel clamp traveling in some of the reviews I watched before buying. I had planned to buy an after market replacement immediately. Not necessary Beretta went ahead and fixed the situation buy placing a recessed section on the magazine cover. This keeps the clamp from traveling. So for the price and what I received I couldn't be happier. It is such a fast way of going through 12 gauge ammo. Looking forward to training with it. I have a Winchester 1300 Defender that I bought in the 90's, I will still use it to remain proficient, but the A300 Ultima LE is gonna be fun practicing transition shooting on targets with the old Do-All skeet thrower throwing doubles. Man that's fun. Well Thank Buds, I ended up with exactly what I wanted and didn't realize it!

Impressed. Not much shotgun experience other than pumps. Cycles fast, easy to handle. Only gripe is the location of the rear qd swivel. Content i went this route instead of the 1301.

Beretta has a winner with this one. The gun is well balanced and lightweight and handles very well. The sights are a bit rudimentary but adequate, and the rail for optics is a nice touch. The texturing of the stock is pretty aggressive and not the most comfortable, but that can be a plus in wet or muddy conditions. Beretta also includes a custom cut velcro adhesive strip for the receiver if you want to use shell cards. All the controls are oversized making it very easy to manipulate, and the enhanced loading port is awesome-I've never loaded a shotgun so easily without tearing up my fingers. I ran the gun with a mix of federal slugs and buckshot. Both were POA/POI and controllable, but the recoil is a bit stout, given the lighter weight. Just for fun, I tried some 3" buckshot I had lying around-no problems with firing, loading, or ejecting. I had one malfunction (fail to go into battery), but this was within the first 20 or so rounds and may have been induced by me as I dropped the shell into the port. Overall, if you are looking for a semiauto tactical shotgun, this is very hard to beat for the price.
