Does anyone know if the hammer could rest directly on a round? I know it sounds nuts but I saw a video on YouTube where another manufacturer has a derringer type gun on the market, and “if” the user is not careful to make sure the hammer is placed in the right “groove” spot it would rest directly on a round and easily go off if dropped. Thank you all.

Greg, no you cannot let the hammer rest on a Live round because as you said if dropped it could go off. As the Derringer in the video you saw it has safety grooves for the hammer to rest so it's not on a Live round. So pretty much the same setup as the Derringer you're talking about. Roger, unfortunately no Sir. Standard Manufacturing only has (1) revolver on the CA DOJ Handgun Roster : https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search?make=186291 ----------- Which is the S333 : https://stdgun.com/s333/

Roger, no sir, this is not on the CA DOJ roster of approved handguns. This basically means Standard Mfg did not pay CA the $200 extortion fee to have the gun put on the list.

Can a hammer be accidentally caulked while it's folded

Forest, When the grip is in the closed position you are unable to c0ck the gun. The locking mechanism of the grip prevents the hammer from moving backwards into a firing position. Have a great day!

Forest, looks like it can be cocked while it's folded but when folded the trigger is enclosed into the grip. So there's absolutely no way to accidentally pull the trigger when it's folded. Hope this helps.

Switching is just as described but I feel like a lot of others it's a bit over priced. Even though I like it for the purpose I purchased it. I clearly see it is over priced. Not the mistake of Buds, but Standard Manufacturing.

One of the best concealable pocket guns I have owned. It can be rapid fired once you figure out how. Its very accurate at 7-8yards. It will hold a 2" pattern easily. I purchased a .22 mag and love it. For the people that say it doesnt shoot well your sadly mistaken.

Bought this for an easier conceal for times when a waistband holster isn't possible. Nicely made, small and concealable. Easy to operate. Of course the short barrel will mean close range with lower velocity. Anxious to do some testing

Such a fun little unique gun! We bought this for my wife for a concealed carry after sh discovered she wasn’t comfortable with her ruger lcp. It has several safety features to it and is also very comfortable to shoot even with larger hands. Very impressed.
