ProMag's AK-S30 is a 30-rd magazine designed for the AK-47 rifle. The magazine body is constructed from heat-treated blued steel, with a follower made from proprietary DuPont Zytel based polymer. The spring is made from heat treated chrome-silicon wire for maximum reliability and smooth feeding. Fits most common variants of the Kalashnikov in 7.62x39mm.

Broke after a few uses. The little tab that's supposed to catch onto the magazine release lever bent and looked like it got filed down after a few uses, causing jams and eventually I replaced it with a polymer mag that works flawlessly. Waste of money.

Ordered two of these mags. Wouldn’t come anywhere close to fitting either a c39v2 or a SAM7 AK. Both of these rifles have milled receivers, and that probably is the reason they will not work. Love the finish of the mags. Seem to be very well made. The rear locking tabs appear to be way too long for the milled receivers. Will probably take a grinding wheel and file to the tabs and see if I can make them work. Will rate middle ways, excellent finish, feel, etc., but will not fit my rifles.

Ordered 3 magazines none fit. They're worth as much as scrap metal. If you want mags that don't fit and fall out. These are perfect. But the plastic promags and the metal Bulgarian ones are a perfect fit nice and tight.
