  Trevor, the Polymer Frame will definitely be fine. The Carbon Steel Cylinder With Black Oxide Finish and Barrel will hold up with the proper protection.   James, this will wear in after approximately 100 or so rounds. Normally, only a few are extra stiff on the release initially but wear in quickly.
