Taurus Tracker 22LR/22WMR 4" stainless 9 shot revolver - I have put over 500 rounds of 22LR and 22WMR though this beast. Well made. No issues of any kind. The gun is heavy for a 22 but I like it. well balanced. This gun stays on my tractor for snakes. Bud's is top notch to deal with. Very satisfied customer..

Man, the price listed above is way higher than I paid for it! this is my "yard gun" and it is wonderful. Where I live, there's times of the year that it's not a bad thing to at least be able to make some noise or get the marauding predators that wander through the yard when doing chores, to just keep moving. I had a really nice autoloader, but that "reliability" issue came up not once but twice so that cinched it! The revolver was the answer so the this Tracker is the baby in my "Bull Pen." Accurate and versitile with the Mag cylinder I can use all the .22 rimfire styles: short, long, long rifle and mag. Thank you Taurus for keeping the lines clean, the build heavy and the price "somewhat" affordable.

Trigger is heavy. Gun feels solid and shoots well. I dig that 22lr/22wmr switch, even if it’s just for fun shooting. Accurate and if it wasn’t for that ridiculous trigger pull, I would recommend without reservations.

Last Sunday I put thru about 100 rounds and the M992 Tracker performed well. I also cleaned it yesterday and it didn't need cleaning. I like the feel /handling and the 4" barrel is a perfect compromise between being able to shoot accurately and the gun being somewhat a concealed capable gun also. My first interest was to purchase the Taurus 942 with the 3" barrel but the extra inch and the additional weight has a nice balance for accurate placement. I haven't tried the LR version due to a shortage of ammo currently. Over all I am pleased with the purchase. I am nearly 78 years old, so this gun works well for me for defense.

I was looking for a companion pistol for varmint hunting. I shoot either my ruger precision 22mag or my ruger 10/22 22lr. I dont like carring two types of ammo and not in bear country, so the tauras tracker 992 22lr/22mag made perfect sence.
It's a beautiful weapon and is great for the close shots, plinking and just fun...
