Improving on the FNP™-45 Tactical, developed for the U.S. Joint Combat
Pistol Program, the FNX™-45 Tactical is the latest in technological
advancements in handgun engineering, offering .45 ACP performance and a
host of unique features that no other handgun can match. The checkered
polymer frame is offered in Black and Flat Dark Earth and has a low-bore
axis for reduced felt recoil and enhanced operator control. Two
interchangeable backstraps come standard to quickly customize the grip
feel. All operating controls are fully ambidextrous for ease of use. The
5.3″ cold hammer-forged, stainless steel barrel has a threaded muzzle
to accept sound suppressors, compensators and other accessories.
The stainless steel slide has high-profile combat night sights and
includes two mounting bases to accept multiple styles of optional
red-dot electronic sights. Includes (2) 15rd mags.

This pistol is a little large for my hands, but I love the 15 1 capacity. I added talon grip and that did the trick. I also added a green dot sight. It is now pretty darn accurate. I stll like my 1911's, but and glad to have purchased this. Its a great piece to keep in the nightstand when things go bump in the night. Thank you Buds.

I bought the FN FNX45 Tactical .45 pistol because my son told me he thought it was a cool pistol. I put it in my safe and never fired it. He texted me the other day and asked if it was accurate, because he was trying to decide if he should buy one for himself. I didn't know, so I pulled it out of the box and took it to my range. I fired 5 rounds from 50 yards at a 9" metal plate. Every single bullet hit the plate. The action was smooth and the pistol cycled like a dream. I will definitely be shooting it a lot more.
