Great rifle. Well balanced with good fit/finish. Very accurate with multiple bullet weights and loads. Out shoots many far more expensive rifles. Just let it cool between groups as this is a high intensity cartridge (240 wby mag).

Bud's was great, easy transaction as always. Weatherby has a winner with the new Vanguard S2's I have them in multiple calibers all perform as they should good triggers and solid actions, stock is OK for hunting rifle, will not hesitate to purchase more.

For the price and quality you get this rifle cannot be beat . The Weatherby Vanguard S2 rifles are truly quality bargains . The metal finish rivals rifles costing two times as much . The rifle action design is nice and solid and projects quality . This is unlike the cheap design and of some of its competitors in this price range . The synthetic stock design and quality out shines all its competitors in my opinion . The proportions and the fact it has a cheek piece for a good cheek meld are a plus . You cannot go wrong buying one of these rifles .

Great Deal and lightning fast shipping. I had been looking all over for one of these and Buds had the best price. The rifle shoots 1/2 inch groups with Weatherby 100 grain ammo. The rifle is balanced and handles well. Is a great rifle for varmints up to deer size game. This is the 5th Weatherby I own and all of them shoot great I would buy it again.

This is a wonderful rifle. Well fit and finished and great ergonomics. It has the best trigger you could hope for. Shoots sub-moa groups with 85 and 100 grain bullets. I am delighted with this rifle. It is like a 243 on steroids. It's ballistics puts it in a class (or two) above a 243 and 6mm Rem.
