The latest offering in the Scorpion family, this P238 shares the same Flat Dark Earth, custom finish as the 1911, P220, P226 and P229 versions. Hogue Piranha G-10 grips provide an exceptional grip as well as a distinctive appearance. A new ambidextrous safety is standard. It is just a fraction of the size of full-size pistols. A smart looking, small handgun built with the same accuracy and reliability as large frame Sig Sauer pistols. With an overall length of just 5.5 inches a height of 3.96 inches, and weighing just 15.2 ounces, the SIG SAUER P238 is the ultimate firepower in an all metal frame concealed pistol. The P238 is built on an anodized alloy beavertail style frame with a flat dark earth finish, Hogue Piranha G-10 grips. The stainless steel slide features the popular trademarked Sig Sauer slide serrations, flat dark earth finish and SIGLITE Night Sights.

Great little pistol. Sturdy and has a good weight to it which reduces felt recoil and the snappiness that comes with “pocket” pistols. Only ever failed to eject a casing when I was shooting with one hand. Other than that, it’s a great backup carry pistol or excellent low profile carry pistol. Would definitely recommend over any other .380 on the market.

This is my edc. I love this gun so much i am thinking of getting another one. Fits my hands perfectly and easy to conceal. Recoil is not that bad in my opinion and shoots pretty decent. Love the color and grips also!

This gun is nothing but GREAT!!!!!!! Very easy to handle, very accurate, very reliable. Buy the nightmare P238 for the wife and was so impressed I bought this one for my backup cow. You won’t be disappointed!

Purchased as a deep concealment carry pistol, this P238 does the trick. Very reliable, easy to cycle and deadly accurate. Besides its perfect function, its a great looking pistol. With the 7 round mag, all my fingers fit on the grip making it feel very secure in my medium sized hands. Light in weight, heavy in features. Can be cycled even with the Ambi safty engaged. Night sights glow in the dark making it great for evening and after dark targeting of you intended target. Fit, finish and price make this a real deal. Highly recommend to men and women alike.

Has been used as my wife's carry. This is an exceptionally well built, durable, yet relatively light,.380. Easy to handle, and very accurate at self defense distances, especially with the ctc red laser. The scorpion finish is especially desirable in almost any environment. For women, the slide is reasonably easy to jack, [unless you have a broken wrist and are recuperating from rotator cuff surgery]. Best of all--it's a SIG.

The Sig P238 is a very good small sized close range defense pistol. The wife and I are able to keep hits in the X and 10 ring of a B 27 target at 7 yards easily enough. Yes, we get a few in the 9 ring also, but this is not a target gun after all. Felt recoil of this locked breech design is less than a blow back design using the exact same ammunition. ( Examples of blow back designs being the Walther PPK/S, Bersa Thunderer, etc. ) Reliability has been very good, with no failures to feed or eject. This includes defensive hollow point ammunition such as Speer Gold Dots, and Winchester hollow point rounds. So if you're in the market for a small .380 caliber pistol, I'd give the Sig some consideration. Especially so if you're used to the larger 1911 style handguns. Like the 1911, this is a single action semi auto.
