Maglite's XL series of compact LED flashlights has an adjustable spot-to-flood LED beam with Intelligent Energy Source Management that continuously monitors the balance between high brightness and efficient power usage allowing for prolonged battery life of the included three AAA alkaline batteries. The pushbutton tailcap switch uses QuickClick to access each model's modes. XL50 has 3 modes: high, low and strobe. XL200 has 5 modes: high power, variable rate strobe, nite lite, signal, SOS, plus lockout to prevent accidental operation. Each rugged, machined aluminum case is anodized for corrosion resistance and durability, then individually serial numbered.
