I received this with 3 full rail covers (Knights Armament), a half rail cover and the KA broom handle. As well, the Matech flip-up sight, and the front side-sling mount. Also with 1 colt GI mag, and the colt lock.

Michael - this Colt rifle features a Chrome-Lined M4 Profile Barrel of 14.5", with a 1:7 twist rate. That means the flash hider will be pinned/welded in place to meet the 16" barrel requirements.

Trijicon agog will it work on a COLT le6920 Sodom or will front iron sight will be a problem

Hey guys I’m fairly new to ARs and guns in general. I have purchased this rifle and was needing to get some extra magazines for it however I did not want to purchase the incorrect type. My question is as follows, will any general AR 30 round magazine work with this? Or should I buy a specific generation any good recommendations? I appreciate your time. I was considering buying just a general magpull 30 round magazine for 5.56. Thanks again.

any of the magpul p mags will be fine along with almost any at-15 type mag the p mag at among the best (any generation )

Yes David, this rifle will accept any standard AR Magazine or Drum. The best to look at are P-Mags, Lancers, C-Products. You have a varied choice of quality AR Magazines.

I see the Colt LE6920 SOCOM is advertised to have the Property of us government m4a1 marked. I see a lot of reviews that the firearm is marked that way, but most recent review n purchased 21Oct2018 said his was not marked with the property of US government. It was a leftover m4a1 marked from 2017. How can i know what im truly getting? As a US Army soldier that is the appeal to have those roll marks. Its half the reason instead of a reg le6920 w the exception of a few other things.

I’ve heard that the 2018 models are a little more rough around the edges (fit & finish etc.) Wondering if anyone can confirm or deny?

I can confirm this yes Peter. I own a 2012 ColtLE6920 and have seen some recent Colts and can confirm the machining is not as good now on current LE6920's. The finish is even different now as well. To be fair, lots of current AR manufacturers seem to be cutting corners since the rifle sales have decreased and prices have dropped.

First, before I review the Colt M4A1 SOCOM rifle, I have to say Buds makes buying a firearm on- line simple and painless. They are the best bar none. Now onto the rifle. If I have any complaint about the Colt M4A1 SOCOM it is the very faint rollmark on the lower receiver. Colt has switched from using a rollmark die to using a laser to etch the Colt emblem and other info into the lower receiver. The rifle itself feels of the same quality as my older Colt AR15's. This is not the latest and greatest whiz bang AR around. It is a faithful representation of a military grade weapon minus the full auto of course. If that's what you're interested in, don't hesitate to buy one.

Very happy with this purchase. After the 5 business day hold for my ACH to clear the item shipped on a Friday with arrival Monday at my FFL. Great transaction with Buds.
The rifle arrived with the US Government roll marks, the 14.5" barrel with pinned/welded flash hider, KAC rail with four full length rail covers, broomstick vertical grip, one aluminum GI magazine and lock. No scratches, nicks, or handling marks from the factory like you occasionally see with NIB Colts. BCG looks good to go. With this model you are adding some weight for the heavy profile SOCOM barrel (heavier under the rail) but with the barrel being shorter than a typical 6920 I think you gain some of that back. At worst it feels like you are moving that weight from the end of the barrel to under the handguard, which makes the rifle feel lighter to me. I had originally purchased this to be a safe queen, but after receiving it I think I am going to slap an Aimpoint on it and run the heck out of it.

I just picked up my rifle today and I must say that is it Very nice! I broke it down and cleaned it as soon as I got home. It is exactly as it's described. The only thing that it doesn't have is an f marked front sight base. I am assuming that they are using a taller front sight to make up the height of the Flattop. Mine came with the property of us M4 A1 stamped reciever, correct socom barrel with the cutouts. Knights rail system with broom handle and quite a few extra panels. Matec rear sight. Pinned and welded flash suppressor. Correct C stamped bolt carrier and MPC bolt. H 2 Buffer, and 4 position stock. All in all it's a true M4 A1. I can't wait to shoot it. I highly recommend this rifle to anyone wanting a M4 A1 copy.

I always wanted a Colt and saw this one at Buds. Right away I thought it would be a great investment and so far it has been. I research everything and this model was my choice. The MBUS front and back are solid along with the entire rifle. Bud's Guns answered all my questions and purchasing it was very simple. I chose to mail in a check and everything went great. I will probably start ordering from Bud's.
